Warehouse Lead

For over 75 years Cascade Pump has been a leader in low lift high-capacity industrial water pump manufacturing. We are looking for a Material Resource Lead to be responsible for material requirements of our job orders, as well as cycle counts monthly and manage our inventory.
Responsibilities

  • Accountable for warehouse performance for safety, quality, on-time delivery
  • Manage material handling and warehouse staff
  • Process customer orders that can be fulfilled with warehouse staff.
  • Building Kits for Assembly, Fabrication, Machine shop.
  • Facilitate all jobs at time of release, with printed job travelers, blueprints, and labels.
  • Perform Weekly, Monthly annual cycle counts. 
  • Keep accurate inventory of all warehouse parts. 
  • Communicate material and stock issues with engineering, purchasing, and management
  • Evaluate material needs of each shop job order.
  • Evaluate production schedule from a material perspective.
  • Ship small parts and bowl assembly orders through UPS and Fed Ex.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read shop blueprints
  • Inventory control specialist is a plus. 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong communications skills
  • Knowledge of MRP / ERP Systems. Made 2 Manage highly desired.
  • Basic math and algebra
  • Basic CAD and drafting skills a plus
  • College education or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment work experience
